Expanding Howler’s Capabilities with a Virtual Event Streaming Platform

With the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Howler faced the urgent need to adapt its event management platform to support virtual events as large in-person gatherings were no longer possible. The challenge was to quickly develop a robust online event streaming solution that would seamlessly integrate with their existing ticketing and access control systems. Additionally, the platform needed to include interactive features such as live communication and donation capabilities to keep audiences engaged and support event organisers in monetising their virtual events.

Blott collaborated with Howler to build a comprehensive virtual event streaming platform that enabled organisers to host and manage online events effortlessly. We integrated the new streaming functionality with Howler’s existing systems, allowing seamless ticket sales, attendee management, and secure access control for virtual events. To enhance user engagement, we added interactive features such as live chat, Q&A sessions, and donation options, providing a dynamic and participatory experience for attendees. The platform was designed with scalability and flexibility in mind, accommodating events of various sizes and types while maintaining high-quality streaming and reliable performance.
